Position Title: Payroll Analyst
Location: Wayne, NJ - Hybrid!!
Industry: Luxury Fashion Retail
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Large payroll software experience (Ceridian DayForce is a plus!)
- Multistate experience
- Payroll tax and compliance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Job Description:
- Ensure that all tax-related filings are compliant with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Register state, state unemployment and disability
- Review the tax returns for federal, state, and local taxes
- Conduct tax research to provide recommendations on tax planning and strategy
- Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Maintain tax records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Year-end reporting review and reconcile US and Canada quarterly and annual filing; W2, T4 and RL-1 Summary before the printing and distribution. EHT and WC filing.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility toward change and quickly adjust to new situations and departmental priorities.
- Performs other duties as appropriate.
