Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain and update employee payroll records accurately.
- Review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support general ledger accounting by preparing journal entries for payroll transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to verify payroll-related transactions are accurate and balanced.
- Assist in account reconciliation processes, ensuring all payroll transactions are correctly recorded.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on corporate accounting tasks, providing accurate reports and documentation as needed.
- Uphold strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information, adhering to governmental accounting standards.

Requirements
- Experience in payroll processing or a related accounting role is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Solid knowledge of corporate accounting practices, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation.
- High proficiency in data entry with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).

This is a full-time, in-office position with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $23.00, based on experience and qualifications.
