We are in search of a highly organized, detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our growing payroll team. The Payroll Assistant will play a key role in the timely processing and maintenance of multiple payroll accounts with accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Enters, updates, and maintains confidential employee data.
- Collects, calculates, and enters timekeeping data into the payroll system.
- Prepares payroll for processing and payroll reports for review.
- Maintains payroll schedules and worksheets.
- Investigates and resolves payroll discrepancies.
- Communicates with related departments, such as HR, Billing and Finance.
Requirements:
1. Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous payroll software experience; ideally Quickbooks
- Strong preference for Paylocity experience
- Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with payroll compliance and procedures.
2. Skills and Competencies:
- Strong mathematical/analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational ability and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts with varying deadlines and confidentiality.
- Problem solving aptitude.
- Ability to work remotely without supervision, in an often fast-paced environment.

- Available Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
