Hanon Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support our Alabama manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for the accurate processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefit programs, while serving as a key HR resource for plant employees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confidential, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Payroll Administration Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Ensure accurate timekeeping, overtime calculations, shift differentials, and payroll deductions Maintain payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner Coordinate payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and leaves of absence Partner with corporate payroll and finance teams to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy Benefits Administration Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and enrollment support Manage open enrollment, life event changes, and benefit audits Coordinate with benefit vendors and carriers to resolve eligibility and claim issues Maintain accurate benefit records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.) HR Support & Compliance Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll and benefits Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee data Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance requirements Provide day-to-day HR support to plant leadership and employees as needed Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration (manufacturing or plant environment preferred) Working knowledge of payroll laws and benefit compliance requirements Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP or similar preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
