CV Resources is partnering with a growing multi-division, multi-state organization on the search for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead full-cycle payroll operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is an on-site leadership role at the company’s Longview, WA headquarters!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process multi-state (CA, OR, ID), multi-entity payroll in compliance with all wage, hour, and tax regulations.

• Oversee certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage compliance for public works projects.

• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure accurate classification, reporting, and labor tracking.

• Lead and develop a payroll staff of 2 full time payroll coordinators, oversee audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting.

• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

• CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, multi-state payroll, and certified payroll reporting.

• Proficiency with UKG or similar systems, and advanced Excel skills.

• High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and analytical ability.
