We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contractor position offering an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll specialist to manage multi-state and union payroll operations. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in payroll systems and compliance, with the ability to handle complex payroll tasks efficiently.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee multi-state payroll processes, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and timely execution.

• Manage union payroll operations, including hourly and salaried employees, with a focus on accuracy and prevailing wage requirements.

• Process payroll for a fluctuating employee count ranging from 10 to 100, adapting to weekly changes.

• Handle new employee paperwork and ensure onboarding payroll steps are completed seamlessly.

• Administer garnishments and other payroll deductions in accordance with legal guidelines.

• Ensure accurate payroll calculations for both bi-monthly and project-based wages.

• Utilize payroll software, such as Paychex, to streamline operations and maintain records.

• Collaborate with management on payroll-related reporting and analysis.

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly.

• Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Familiarity with union payroll systems and prevailing wage calculations.
• Proficiency with payroll software, such as Paychex, and other related tools.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, including garnishments and deductions.
• Ability to handle payroll for varying employee counts with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience processing bi-monthly payroll and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for employee and management interactions.
