Payroll Specialist - Temporary Apply
We are looking for an individual to join our team for a 1-year temporary assignment while we implement a new ERP system. Core Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule Review and verify timecards, hours worked, and pay premiums Enter and maintain employee payroll data in HRIS/payroll systems Handle wage garnishments, deductions, reimbursements, and special pay items Audit payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Support year-end tasks per year end task list Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly Provide payroll related reports and data as requested to include regulatory reporting. Reconcile payroll data to the vendor to ensure accuracy as well as ensuring employees are not going over IRS/RMC limits Balance/report/pay all payroll taxes Prepare, balance and report all quarter end and year end reporting such as 941's and W-2's Assist with all internal and external audits. Data clean up and review Skills & Qualifications Experience with payroll processing (UKG Dimensions preferred) Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work with confidential information Strong Excel and data-entry skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
