LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a valued client in the real estate industry to identify a detail-oriented and organized Payroll & Benefits Administrator . This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll and benefits programs while supporting a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have payroll processing experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for providing excellent employee support.
Responsibilities Payroll Administration Support end-to-end payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
Conduct biweekly payroll audits, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly
Perform payroll tax reconciliations on a biweekly and quarterly basis
Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Complete quarterly and annual reporting, including census reporting, workers’ compensation reporting, and 401(k) reconciliations
Partner with Accounting and Treasury teams on payroll funding reconciliations
Process wage verification requests
Benefits Administration Assist with annual open enrollment activities
Perform benefit plan reconciliations on a biweekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Process benefit billing and funding transactions
Support employee leave administration and payroll coordination
Respond to employee questions related to benefit plans and programs
General Administration Participate in new hire onboarding sessions and communicate payroll and benefits information
Set up vendors and process invoices and wire requests
Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll, timekeeping, absence management, and benefits inquiries
Support HR data transactions within Workday while maintaining data accuracy and integrity
Process Improvement & Technology Leverage systems and technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting
Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements
Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives within a technology-forward HR function
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience
Experience with Workday and/or ADP preferred
APA certification preferred
Knowledge of payroll and benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (slightly flex depending on experience)
