Payroll Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join a corporate team environment. This role will be responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing for a multi-state workforce. The ideal candidate brings strong technical payroll knowledge, a high level of discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: Process biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and deductions Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and other variable compensation Ensure proper handling of payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits deductions, and direct deposits Reconcile payroll data and assist with general ledger and bank reconciliations Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, responding to employee and internal inquiries Support audits by preparing and providing payroll documentation as needed Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws Assist in improving payroll processes, systems, and reporting efficiencies Partner cross-functionally with Accounting and Human Resources to support overall business operations Qualifications: 3+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing Experience with payroll systems such as Paycom (preferred) Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations (FLSA and multi-state compliance) Experience with benefits and leave administration is a plus CPP certification preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information Ability to work effectively in a fully on-site, professional office environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
