- Generous hourly starting pay rate of $30 per hour (w2 employment)
SCHEDULE:
- The PCA Bus Aide is needed to provide student transportation monitoring starting from the bus depot in Oxford, PA to Downingtown, PA and return.
- AM transportation starting at the bus depot in Oxford, PA to the student's school: 6:20am - 9:20am
- PM transportation to school and return to bus depot: 12:40pm - 4:25pm

- Ability to work school-based hours 9:30am - 12:30pm in between bus runs
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Know the proper use of securing devices for safety restraints and seat belts
- Assist the driver in the proper transition of student support
- Maintain student safety
- Supervise and assist student in transit
- Know the school bus evacuation procedures and be physically capable to evacuate students in an emergency
- Learn the bus route and provide route information that includes driver directions for the best way to reach a location, for a substitute or newly assigned bus driver
- Occupy a seat that provides the best opportunity for student supervision while the bus is in motion
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma OR equivalency
- Experience working with school aged children - preferred
- Experience with autism and / or other special needs - preferred
CREDENTIALS:
(Clearances current within 12 months)
*CCRES provides paid clearances & TB screening
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI
- TB Screening (current within 3 months)
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
