PCB Designer / ECAD Librarian Onsite in McLeansville, NC 3 days onsite per week & 9/80 work schedule Pay Estimated: $50-$55 Per Hour Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission‑critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you’ll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems Develop and maintain ECAD component libraries, symbols, and footprints within Mentor Graphics Xpedition Perform PCB layout design for CCAs used in undersea communication systems Manage part creation and lifecycle using structured library management processes Generate and validate design documentation packages including BOMs, ODB++ fabrication files, and 3D models Support schematic capture activities in Xpedition Ensure compliance with IPC and manufacturing standards Apply knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques to optimize manufacturability Collaborate with internal engineering teams and interface with suppliers to clarify design documentation Support prototyping and assist with hands‑on circuit validation when required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of relevant experience in ECAD library management and/or PCB design 2+ years of experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes Experience with structured library management practices Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Mentor Graphics suite tools: Xpedition, xDM, DxDataBook, BoardStation, HyperLynx Experience with Altium Designer Xpedition Parts Request System experience Footprint Expert Enterprise 23 3D model creation using SolidWorks, NX, or Creo HyperLynx signal integrity analysis Experience generating BOMs, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, and 3D models Knowledge of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing processes Hands‑on circuit design and prototyping experience Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.
