Sellwood Medical Clinic, an award-winning, privately owned medical clinic has grown to four locations in the Portland Metro area. We are headquartered in the Historic Home of Robert Sellwood (est. 1907) in the heart of the Sellwood neighborhood and have offices in North Portland and westside in Beaverton near Washington Square. SMC has been providing exceptional compassionate care for over twenty-two years. We promote work/life balance and seeking to add a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to our incredible and compassionate clinical team.    
 
Full time Day Shift or Part Time We can be flexible for the right candidate! 

Clinic hours: Weekdays: 7:45am - 5:30pm Saturdays: 8:45am to 3pm. Please submit your resume with cover letter to if you meet the criteria below. In your cover letter, please indicate desired rate of pay. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the pediatric nurse practitioner is to provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions

Develop a plan of care for each patient, including: complete medical history, physical examination, diagnosis of the causes of injuries and illnesses, appropriate treatment and/or referral

Provide patient-centered, cultural competent care without discrimination in regards to age, race, color, national origin, ethnicity, sex, sexual preference, weight, handicap or income

Immunize and vaccinate patients against communicable diseases as recommended and required by the standard of care as it from time to time is updated

Confer with consulting physicians, patients and patients' relatives concerning treatment and care of patients, using appropriate care and confidentiality

Participate in practice development, quality assurance, peer review, and staff meetings/activities as deemed necessary by the CEO and Medical Director.

Cooperate and collaborate with other medical providers and support staff at the practice site to maintain effective communication and continuous improvement of the site’s clinical operation

Maintain accurate and concise charting documentation of all patient encounters on a timely basis.
Benefits

We offer competitive salary, profit sharing and sign on bonus after 90 days. 

Salary: 
$122,000-$150,000 commensurate with years of clinical experience

Qualifications/License/Certification:

  • Board Certified
  • Basic Life Support certification required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification strongly encouraged
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
