Overview
This position is for a Pediatrician responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in both outpatient and in-hospital settings. The role involves monitoring patient health, supporting developmental needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a high standard of outpatient and in-hospital medical care
Monitor health, growth, and development of patients from birth
Maintain accurate charting and documentation
Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
Consult with the Medical Director regarding diagnosis or care management
Prescribe necessary medications
Participate in daily team meetings and huddles
Serve as a preceptor for medical, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician Assistant students
Schedule and Shift Details
Willingness to work off-hours and overtime as needed to attend to patient needs
Travel
Required to rotate between multiple clinic locations as needed
Qualifications
Doctorate degree in medicine
Valid DEA registration
One or more of the following current certifications: CCRP, ARC BLS
Valid Medical Doctor license in the state of California
Minimum one year of experience in pediatrics or pediatric care
