Location: Tupelo, MS
Position: Contract Onsite
Duration: 16 Weeks
Hours Per Week: 40
Shift: Days (8 AM - 4:30 PM)
Job Summary:
Pediatric Echo Tech, will play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions in infants and children. Will utilize advanced echocardiography equipment to perform non-invasive cardiac imaging, working closely with pediatric cardiologists to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies on pediatric patients, including infants and children of various ages.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient imaging to assist in the diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists to interpret results and provide detailed reports.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Educate and comfort patients and their families, providing clear explanations of procedures and addressing any concerns.
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with a specialization in Pediatric Echocardiography required.
  • BLS required
  • Previous 2-3 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography is required.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with young patients and their families.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
