CCCS is looking for an enthusiastic, student centered, PE/Health teacher to join our small school community. We are looking for someone who values and supports our ‘people first’ approach to developing and sustaining a close knit school community that does great things for kids.

CCCS is a small charter school with 1 class per grade level, K-8. This position has the opportunity to work with every child, every day, and to see them grow over the years. It also offers the chance to really get to know the families and colleagues with whom we work, and be an integral part of the school community. As such, the perfect person for this role is someone who independently strives to make sure each child receives a top notch experience and enjoys the opportunities to wear some different hats around the school and fully embrace developing a comprehensive program.

This role at CCCS teaches all grades PE Monday through Thursday, and Middle School Health on Fridays. They coordinate guest presentations for Health and our annual Field Day in the spring. CCCS is looking for an outstanding candidate that is eager to create a full school program that promotes healthy activities and learning throughout the school day and year.

This is a full time 1.0 FTE position. Anticipated starting salary is $40,500 -$45,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Full time positions include fully paid employee health insurance premiums, life insurance and full PERS contributions. 192 day a year teacher calendar. TSPC license preferred, and we will consider folks with experience/training/mindset suitable for the role so as to obtain a Charter Registry. Full background check and fingerprinting also required.
