We have assembled a team of diverse, smart, successful, and seasoned professionals who have personally experienced and believe in the importance of a PEO to businesses and the community.

We are looking to expand our team with bright, driven, and passionate employees who want to truly help our clients succeed in the businesses they own and manage. Our tag line is meaningful to us; “Empowering Business, Committed to People, & Growing Dreams.”

Position Overview

The PEO Implementation & Sales Engineer Specialist plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, organized, and positive client onboarding and technology adoption experience for new PEO clients. This role is responsible for leading and executing new client implementations, performing scope analysis, delivering Human Resources Information System (HRIS) demonstrations, and training internal teams and clients to ensure confidence, accuracy, and long-term success.

This role requires a confident, personable professional with strong emotional intelligence, someone who can read the room, adapt to a communication style, and build trust quickly. You will lead onboarding calls, conduct HRIS demos, configure systems, and train clients to successfully use our platforms.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both process execution and client interaction, is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and energized by helping clients feel confident and supported from day one.

This position works closely with Operations, Client Services, Payroll, Benefits, Risk, and Sales, and plays a critical role in aligning client expectations with system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct New Client Welcome Calls and implementation meetings with confidence and professionalism
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Maintain proactive, clear communication to ensure timelines, expectations, and deliverables are met
  • Lead full PEO implementations, ensuring accurate setup of payroll, HR, benefits, and related services
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding and data integrity
  • Identify client-specific risks, gaps, or complexities and proactively escalate or resolve issues
  • Facilitate transition meetings and handoffs to internal service teams upon completion of implementation
  • Assist with employee data loads, data validation, and parallel payroll testing

HRIS & Technology Systems Demos, Setup & Training

  • Conduct live HRIS and technology system demonstrations for prospective and existing clients
  • Lead technology system setup and configuration to support payroll, HR, benefits, and related workflows
  • Deliver client and internal training sessions on system functionality, processes, and best practices
  • Customize demonstrations and training based on client size, industry, and service scope
  • Support Sales and Client Services by translating system capabilities into practical business value
  • Stay current on HRIS and related technology system features, updates, and workflow enhancements through ongoing review and testing
  • Work within demo and test environments for system setup practice, validation, and quality assurance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and system resource for both clients and internal teams
    • Create and maintain client training materials, including:
    • Recorded video trainings
    • Step-by-step documentation with screenshots

Process, Workflow & Documentation

  • Execute client onboarding using established templates, checklists, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all onboarding and implementation activities
  • Support electronic onboarding (EOB) configuration and document management
  • Ensure all client documentation is properly saved, organized, and maintained in shared systems
  • Track implementation progress and ensure timely, accurate handoff to ongoing support teams
  • Assist in refining and improving implementation workflows and internal processes
  • Maintain detailed implementation documentation, workflows, and training materials
  • Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and overall client experience

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a PEO, HRIS, payroll onboarding, or a related client-facing technical role.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to “read the room” and adjust communication accordingly.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a professional demeanor and strong customer service presence.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation-based.
  • Highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with HRIS and payroll systems; experience with PrismHR is a plus.
  • Comfortable leading demonstrations and client training sessions.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

  • Experience with PrismHR or similar HRIS platforms, Timeco, or other HR/Payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of timekeeping platforms and system integrations.
  • Experience creating training documentation and video walkthroughs.

  • High integrity and accuracy
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn
  • Comfort working with technology and multiple software platforms
