Bellville, United States | Posted on 07/22/2025 JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Project Description: Provide subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft PUMupgrades and PeopleSoft administration. Administer and apply monthly CAPPS Financialsupdates to CAPPS HUB PeopleSoft system.Apply Linux and Windows criticalsecurity patches on a regular basis related to PeopleSoft application. ProvideProduction support for Education Materials (EMAT),Texas GrantsInterface(TGIF)/Expense Reports (ER) and Cash Receipts (CR) modules. Enhanceand fix bugs related to various PeopleSoft modules primarily custom moduleslike EMAT, TGIF/ER, CR modules. Develop and test complex PeopleSoftfunctionality.Provide senior level business analysis and help design thesolutions. Requirements Duties to be performed: • Perform complete installs of PeopleSoft9.2x at all tiers, using PUM and Change Assistant(A) or DPK used by PeopleSoft.Document high level steps to follow the Oracle delivered steps. • Upgrades PeopleSoft system by conferringwith USERs and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installingenhancements using PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager (PUM) or extracting the necessarypatch code fixes. Document high level steps to follow the Oracle deliveredsteps. • Run and analyze compare reports and applyretrofits. • Maintain PeopleSoft system performance byperforming system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning;troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating system andsystem management; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalatingapplication problems to users. • Provide troubleshooting and isolatingtechnical problems in PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) including Oracledatabase, tuxedo application servers on Unix, process schedulers on both Unixand NT and WebLogic configuration. • Secure PeopleSoft system by developingsystem access, monitoring, control, and evaluation.Monitoring and sendingalerts appropriately for all the servers and environments. • Resolve the bugs from the previous upgradeand implement newer functionality. • Resolve fluid approval workflow issues andconfigure new workflows for travel/expense module. • CPA Updates – Compare analyze the comparesfor conflicts, reapply customizations. • Spin up a new PeopleSoft environment ondemand and download PUM images and stand up a new release image. • Administer the PeopleSoft servers, applypatches and provide support with the critical patches. • Support integration with TEAL, eGrants andother systems like Child Nutrition Program (CNP), Foundation School Program(FSP), Consolidated Entitlement Management System (CEMS). • Process improvements like automating someof the manual recurring activities. • Automate PeopleSoft administrative tasksand train current resources with PeopleSoft administrative tasks. MinimumRequirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum statedrequirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may notbe chosen for this opportunity.
