The PeopleSoft Developer will design, build, and support solutions across the Campus Solutions suite, with flexibility to contribute to HCM and Finance modules when needed. The role focuses on enhancing system functionality, improving user experience, and ensuring stable, secure integrations across enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft Campus Solutions components, including pages, components, app engines, application packages, integrations, and reports. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within PeopleTools. Support and enhance modules such as Admissions, Student Records, Financial Aid, Student Financials , or equivalent HR/Finance modules depending on organizational needs. Build and maintain integrations using Integration Broker, REST/SOAP services, APIs, and third‑party connectors. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes. Participate in PeopleSoft updates, PUM image reviews, testing cycles, and environment migrations. Collaborate with functional analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions. Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation practices, and security protocols. Optimize performance of customizations, queries, and batch processes. Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members and end users. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience with PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Application Packages). Experience working with Campus Solutions modules; HR or Finance experience is acceptable if CS experience is limited. Proficiency with SQL , SQR , PS/Query , and relational database concepts. Experience with REST/SOAP web services , APIs, and integration patterns. Understanding of PeopleSoft security, workflow, and configuration frameworks. Ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PUM , PeopleSoft Update Manager , and lifecycle management tools. Familiarity with Fluid UI , responsive design, and modern PeopleSoft UX patterns.
