A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in the Opa Locka, FL area, supporting a fast-paced concierge pharmacy that specializes in delivering medications to patients via courier, often the same or next day. This position primarily operates as a closed-door pharmacy with limited medication pickup services. The role requires strong retail pharmacy skills, with responsibilities including opening and closing the pharmacy, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily retail pharmacy operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians, who provide strong support on site.
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software to accurately process prescriptions and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care and support for medication delivery services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Florida.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings, preferably with concierge or closed-door pharmacy models.
• Proficient with pharmacy management software, ideally Pioneer Rx.
• Ability to manage and lead pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
