Overview:
Teachers On Demand, INC., is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This part-time, per diem position involves providing psychological assessments and writing reports for K-12 students in various settings such as schools and medical facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, report writing, and collaborating with educational teams to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments.
  • Develop and write detailed, individualized psychological reports that meet state and district standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide insights and recommendations based on assessment results.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed, offering professional expertise on student needs and interventions.
  • Support the development of student-specific interventions, strategies, and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely and compliant manner.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Proven experience working in a K-12 school setting.
  • Expertise in administering and interpreting psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing and presenting findings to school staff and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a per diem schedule.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and processes, including the IEP process.
