Performance Analyst (NHS) – Contract Leeds (on-site once per month) £550 per day (Inside IR35) Contract until November 2026 Start date: ASAPOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Performance Analyst with NHS experience to support performance insight and reporting across digital, data and technology services.This role focuses on linking data to outcomes, tracking delivery and benefits, and providing clear performance insight to support decision-making across programmes, platforms and products. You will work closely with delivery teams, product managers and senior stakeholders to ensure performance data is accurate, meaningful and actionable.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting transparency, governance and continuous improvement across services.Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Analysis & InsightDevelop, maintain and enhance performance metrics, dashboards and reporting covering delivery, outcomes, benefits realisation and operational performanceAnalyse complex datasets (including services such as the Personal Demographics Service) to identify trends, risks and opportunitiesTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProvide regular and ad-hoc analytical insight to support planning, prioritisation and investment decisionsSupport the definition and monitoring of KPIs aligned to organisational objectives and national prioritiesReporting & AssuranceProduce high-quality performance reports for governance forums, senior leadership and assurance processesProvide evidence to support delivery progress, benefits tracking, risks and dependenciesEnsure reporting aligns with NHS England standards, frameworks and DDAT best practiceStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with product managers, delivery teams and senior leaders to understand information needs and performance requirementsBuild strong stakeholder relationships to promote a shared understanding of service performance and improvement prioritiesPresent insights and recommendations clearly, adapting communication for different audiencesContinuous ImprovementContribute to the development of performance frameworks, analytical methodologies and reporting approachesIdentify opportunities to automate, streamline or improve data collection and reporting processesPromote a culture of evidence-based decision making and continuous improvementGovernance & Data QualityEnsure all analysis and reporting complies with information governance, data protection and security requirementsMaintain high standards of data quality, consistency and transparencyEssential ExperiencePrevious NHS experience (essential)Strong experience analysing complex datasets and performance dataExperience producing performance dashboards, reporting and insight for senior stakeholdersAbility to translate data into clear recommendations and actionable insightsExperience working with stakeholders to define performance measures, KPIs and reporting requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environmentsDesirable ExperienceExperience working within digital, data or technology-enabled servicesKnowledge of product-led delivery, agile environments or service-based organisationsExperience with performance frameworks, benefits realisation or assurance processesExperience working within large-scale public sector organisationsTools & TechnologiesData visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or ExcelDatabase querying tools such as SQLKPI design, performance frameworks and metrics developmentApply now or email dom@briodigital.io for more information.
