Job Title Performance Analyst Intern Location Sparrows Lane Training Ground Salary £Unpaid Hours Full time / matchdays & weekends inclusive What You’ll Be Doing Assist with reports and video clips for upcoming opponents. Film and capture First Team games and training. Live and post‑match coding training using HUDL Sports Code. Support creating clips for post‑match video analysis for the team and individuals. Help maintain Charlton Athletics’ team and individual statistical databases. Create reports on Charlton Athletic’s loan players. Update Charlton Athletics’ Best Practice Video Library. Assist with departmental projects, researching relevant academic literature. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Adhere to safeguarding, health, safety, and security regulations. What We’re Looking For A team‑first mindset and pride in contributing to collective success. The ability to perform and make sound decisions in a high‑pressure sporting environment. Relentless attention to detail and commitment to elite standards. Accountability, professionalism, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Essential Experience / Qualifications Studying towards a degree in Football or Sport. Understanding of football coaching, tactics, and technical detail; interest and passion for analysis of football. Ability to commit for the 2025/26 season. Willingness to commit to unsociable hours (i.e., weekends). Trustworthy with sensitive data. Self‑motivated, proactive, and willing to learn. Proficient computer literacy. High organisational skills and attention to detail. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Full UK driving licence or ability to travel to various locations. Skills & Attributes Strong teamwork and communication. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. High levels of organisation and attention to detail. A positive and professional approach.
