Performance Test Tech Lead Manager Apply
Position Summary
As Manager Performance testing you will act in this role as Performance tech lead and project manager supporting multiple clinical applications. You will work on projects ensuring consistency in all project work and be responsible for facilitating all activities pertaining execution of Performance testing. The projects you will lead will be geared toward supporting clinical utilization management and care management. This position will guide and serve a team that delivers technology solutions through effective application of Agile principles and you will directly be working with architects, developers, QA & business teams defining strategies and execution plans for performance testing initiatives for critical tier 1 applications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall responsible for project delivery and technical leadership for performance testing initiatives from project kick off to closure
- Work with Business, Architects, Production support and other stake holders to understand Non-functional requirements
- Review Production stats to determine SLAs for new features to be implemented in production
- Thorough understanding of capturing non-Functional requirements and ensure NFR are captured clearly
- Defined Performance testing and monitoring solution approach, monitoring approach, tool selection for Performance testing initiatives
- Define Testing scope and approach. Develop performance testing strategy.
- Define performance metrics, testing types, identify dependencies for environment setup and test execution. Define success criteria.
- Determine data requirements and develop data strategy
- Define stress end to end environment setup and coordinate activities for environment setup
- Present Performance testing approach and execution plan with leadership for large programs and initiatives
- Create Project plan, scopes and project sing-offs
- Conduct WPR and WPI review for Performance Test Strategy, Scripts, Data and Test Results
- Define load profile for applications and share best practices
- Hold regular meetings to track project progress, review task and dependencies with the team
- Closely with Train RTE, Scrum masters, Program Business and IT leadership for major programs and projects.
- Understand cross application dependencies impacting projects and programs tested
- Analyze and Troubleshoot, triage Application or Environmental Issues with help of tools.
- Provide analytical stats on results and issues. Review/Analyze results and provide sign-off
- Production monitoring/support and Production issue analysis
- Provider recommendations for continuous improvement, document best practices and share lessons learned
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Performance testing experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably managing and leading project delivery
- Extensive experience on scripting and execution tools such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, jmeter and BlazeMeter etc.
- Experience with using Analytical tools with Application Performance management tool expertise. Analyze and Troubleshoot performance issues with use of tools available. SPLUNK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace
- Overall understanding of architecture, infrastructure and technology stack to conduct performance testing (APIC, IIB, DB2, .Net, Java MarkLogic, Salesforce etc)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of the Application Architecture and latest technologies
- Provide technical guidance to performance testing team during project delivery
- Thorough understanding of performance testing process and methodology.
- Define best practices for scripting, data management and execution
- Understanding on other monitoring tool available for Salesforce such as Einstein Analytics.
- Understanding of industry standard tools and providing recommendations and performing tools evaluation, conduct R&D and share knowledge with team
- Demonstrated abilities to lead under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple stakeholders
- Commitment to quality, while being able to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic leader with a proven track record of building relationships with internal and external partners
Education
The minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degree
