Compensation:$70,000 $87,000 annually + Full Benefits

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Invasive Specialist to join our Cath Lab team. This role supports interventional cardiovascular procedures and electrophysiology studies by providing technical expertise, patient care, and procedural assistance in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare procedure trays and maintain sterile technique prior to patient arrival.

  • Collaborate with Cath Lab staff to efficiently manage and execute the daily schedule.

  • Troubleshoot and operate complex cardiovascular equipment.

  • Ensure accurate billing and documentation for procedures and supplies.

  • Review and verify procedure requisitions, ensuring correct orders and indications.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, procedural updates, and supply inventory.

  • Monitor, record, and document procedural data including EKGs and pressure tracings.

  • Follow infection prevention protocols through proper sterilization and decontamination.

  • Perform patient assessments and tailor care based on individual needs.

  • Assist in reducing case turnover time by preparing for upcoming procedures.

  • Support departmental operations through professionalism, communication, and teamwork.

  • Participate in performance improvement and quality control initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Applied Science

  • Certification: One of the following is required:

    • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

    • CCI Certification (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)

    • RCIS Certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Preferred:
  • Experience:

    • 1+ years in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

    • 1+ years in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures

  • Certifications:

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) American Heart Association

    • CVT Certificate Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
