Salary: $97,000 $156,000 annually + Full Benefits
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
The Imaging Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and operational oversight of the Radiology Department. This role ensures quality imaging services, regulatory compliance, optimal staff performance, and equipment maintenance, contributing to the delivery of high-standard patient care.
Key Responsibilities Department Management-
Oversee daily operations of the Radiology Department.

Track incoming radiology studies to ensure accurate submission and timely reporting.

Provide PACS training to appropriate personnel.

Support and troubleshoot radiology transcription processes.

Ensure radiology equipment is properly maintained and complies with all regulatory inspection requirements.

Collaborate with clinic administrators and medical directors to uphold imaging quality standards.

Manage procurement and quotes for radiology equipment.

Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures.

Oversee the radiation protection monitoring program for all exposed staff.

Work with Finance to maintain and optimize the radiology chargemaster and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.

Ensure completion of all quality assurance and control activities.

Conduct regular lead apron testing and documentation.

Monitor and maintain staff competency in performing radiologic exams.

Supervise daily activities of radiology staff.

Conduct timely performance evaluations.

Ensure staff competencies are current and meet clinical standards.

Perform radiologic exams as needed within scope of qualifications.

Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Directly supervise radiology personnel.

Oversee staff training, development, and performance.

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Preferred certifications:

Registered Mammographer (ARRT)

Registered Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or ARRT)

Minimum of 5 years in radiology management and supervision.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

PACS system training experience.

Preferred:

CT technologist experience

MRI technologist experience

Federal, state, and accreditation regulations relevant to SEARHC radiology services.

Digital imaging technologies.

Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.

Effective oral and written communication.

Documentation and medical record management.

Work within multiple computer systems and imaging platforms.

Meet all MQSA standards and reporting requirements.

Supervise and support staff, including indirect reports.

Multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Develop radiology procedures and training manuals.

Foster a team-oriented, collaborative workplace.

Learn and perform new imaging exams as directed by providers or radiologists.
