• _{Perform evaluations and deliver physical therapy treatments for a broad range of pediatric and general patient populations.}

• _{Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.}

• _{Provide clear, customized home exercise programs and ensure caregiver understanding through feedback and demonstration.}

• _{Participate in care conferences and coordinate with referring providers and team members.}

• _{Educate patients and families on injury, diagnosis, functional limitations, and self-care strategies.}

• _{Promote independence and empower families through training and support.}

• _{Provide consultation and in-services to healthcare teams as needed.}

• _{Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, and progress notes in alignment with regulatory standards.}

• _{Assist in clinic operations, administrative tasks, and special projects.}

• _{Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, interns, and other support staff.}

• _{Manage durable medical equipment needs, fitting, inventory, and coordination with providers.}

• _{Support departmental initiatives, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts.}

• _{Adhere to APTA standards and state/federal regulatory requirements.}

• _{Stay current on billing procedures (Medicare, Medicaid, private payers) to support reimbursement.}

• _{Ensure clinic cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and proper inventory levels.}

• _{Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  OR
  Bachelor's or Master's degree from an APTA-approved program with 2+ years of relevant experience and continuing education Required}

• _{Current Alaska Physical Therapy license Required}

• _{Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required}

• _{Valid driver's license Required}

• _{Broad-based clinical experience, including pediatrics and multiple care settings Preferred}

• _{Pediatric and general musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions}

• _{Therapy assessments, treatment techniques, and medical equipment}

• _{Medical billing, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards}

• _{Fitting and training patients on adaptive devices and durable medical equipment}
