OVP Health is actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to help grow our Holzer Health Programs in Gallipolis, Ohio.
OVP is a family-owned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. OVP's physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. The current opportunity is provided by OVP as contracted by Holzer Health System
Job Description:
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine -OR- Board Certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with EM experience are welcome to apply
- Physician-led organization
- 21k/yr ED volume
- 20 bed ED
- 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
- 14 hours/day of APP coverage
- Paragon EMR
- Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)

- This is a full-time permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.

- May be contracted as W2 w/benefits or 1099 independent contractor w/ guaranteed shifts. These are all-inclusive rates:
- 1099- BR50/hr
- W2- BR40/hr
- Additional BR/hour would be added for candidates interested in working all night shifts.

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience - REQUIRED
- Employment experience in Emergency Medicine of at least 12 months/2,000 hours (not including training) - REQUIRED
- OH License (in hand or in process) - REQUIRED
- List of procedures the provider is experienced in performing (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- Proof of COVID Vaccination Status (upload to Documents) - REQUIRED
- Permanent Placement Fee (note in "Additional Submission Details" at name clear) - REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice & licensing - REQUIRED
