_{As a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for patients with chronic kidney disease. You'll manage a caseload of patients while working alongside patient care technicians to monitor vital signs, manage dialysis treatments, and provide patient-centered care. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships with patients and their families to provide compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care.}

• _{Supervise dialysis treatments and patient care activities with the support of patient care technicians.}

• _{Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.}

• _{Set up and operate dialysis machines, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.}

• _{Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.}

• _{Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.}

• _{Educate patients and families about treatment options, dialysis procedures, and ongoing care plans.}

• _{Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR).}

• _{Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.}

• _{Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.}

• _{Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.}

• _{May be required to work some weekends or be available for on-call rotation as needed.}

• _{Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  (A BSN or diploma from an accredited RN program is also acceptable)}

• _{Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse License}

• _{Current BLS/CPR certification}

• _{Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg nursing}
