Job Title: Permanent - Certified Hand Therapist
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505
Salary Range: $99,840 $114,816 annually + Full Benefits
Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our rehabilitation team in Grand Junction, CO. This role involves providing expert-level therapy to patients of all ages, with a focus on upper extremity rehabilitation. The therapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal functional recovery, monitor progress through outcome measures, and produce accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop care plans, and deliver specialized hand therapy services to patients of all ages.

Modify treatment approaches based on patient progress and goals to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and techniques to support long-term success.

Produce accurate, timely documentation that meets all regulatory and professional guidelines.

Utilize data from outcome measures to evaluate intervention effectiveness.

Communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, staff, and leadership regarding patient care and departmental needs.

Demonstrate an understanding of cost-effective care, including billing, coding, and resource management.

Support quality and performance improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation department.
Required Education & Credentials:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado.

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC), with ongoing recertification every 5 years.

Previous experience in upper extremity/hand therapy in a clinical or hospital setting.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
