_{Position Summary:}

_{The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides essential clinical support to physicians and nursing staff by performing a variety of patient care and administrative tasks within their scope of certification. Under the direct supervision of an Office Nurse or Physician, the CMA ensures efficient patient flow, quality care, and accurate documentation to support the overall success of the clinical team.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

• _{Perform clinical procedures such as blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab tests, and other duties within CMA scope.}

• _{Assist physicians during examinations, including obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).}

• _{Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms.}

• _{Answer and return patient phone calls as directed by the physician.}

• _{Provide patient instructions as communicated by the physician.}

• _{Complete medical record documentation, referral forms, lab slips, and other paperwork as needed.}

• _{Requisition supplies to ensure adequate inventory.}

_{Required Qualifications:}

• _{Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program (minimum 2 years) Required}

• _{Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinical setting Required}

• _{Current Medical Assistant certification Required}

• _{Active BLS certification (AHA) Required}
