Location: Peterborough, NH
Rate : $34.00 - $55.00 + Full Benefits
Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM [M to F]

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works under the direction of a physician to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. This role is responsible for safely preparing, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and generating detailed imaging reports for physician interpretation. Adherence to all safety regulations and quality control procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer appropriate dosages of radiopharmaceuticals.

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols.

  • Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment.

  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety standards are met.

  • Prepare imaging results and documentation for physician interpretation.

  • Safely store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate patient and procedural records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Nuclear Medicine Certification: ARRT (N) or CNMT (required).

  • BLS (AHA) certification (required).

  • Minimum of 1 2 years of experience post-certification in Nuclear Medicine (required).

  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols, imaging procedures, and patient care standards.
