Compensation: $48.07 $64.89/hour + Full Benefits
Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Chico, CA. This full-time, permanent position focuses on providing individualized, evidence-based care to patients with a range of diagnoses in an outpatient setting. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs to improve patients' mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.

  • Address impairments related to self-care, functional mobility, cognition, upper extremity function, and perception.

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support recovery and promote independence.

  • Provide caregiver/patient education to ensure safe and effective continuation of care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and clinical outcomes.

  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize treatment plans.

Education, Training & Experience:

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Current CPR certification

Preferred:

  • At least one year of experience in an acute care, outpatient, rehabilitation, extended care, or mental health setting

Licensure:
  • Current California Physical Therapy License, or

  • California Limited Permit with intent to pass the next available board exam (employment contingent on successful completion)

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong clinical judgment and technical competence

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to design practical, goal-oriented therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration
