Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic imaging procedures. This role involves conducting two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of disease, injuries, and abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic ultrasound procedures across various specialties, including abdominal, vascular, and color-flow studies.

Prepare and position patients appropriately and explain procedures clearly.

Select and operate ultrasound equipment based on examination requirements.

Capture and document diagnostic-quality images, ensuring optimal technical quality.

Input patient and exam data accurately into imaging systems and PACS.

Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and assist physicians in interpreting results as needed.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including quality control and service records.

Ensure safe and effective use of ultrasound equipment; perform routine calibration, maintenance, and sterilization.

Comply with all infection control, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.

Deliver age-appropriate care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Actively contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Maintain a professional appearance and meet departmental dress code.

Check and respond to email regularly throughout each shift.

Complete all mandatory trainings within designated timelines.

Attend required in-services, reviews, and at least 75% of department meetings.

Follow organizational policies, including ethical and confidentiality standards (HIPAA).

Positively represent the organization in the community and among patients.

Use timekeeping systems and employee identification correctly.

Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program (minimum one year required).

Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.

Current ARDMS eligibility or certification in the relevant specialty area (required).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty.
Language Skills: Ability to interpret technical materials, write detailed documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Mathematical Skills: Apply basic math and statistics for technical measurements and data reporting.
Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems using critical thinking and adapt to variable situations with minimal standardization.
