PharmacistWe are seeking a Pharmacist to join our Georgetown Pharmacy team! Our Pharmacist is responsible for filling and dispensing prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. The Pharmacist is also responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and Drug Utilization Review. This position must maintain professional working relationships and provide excellent customer service across all levels of the organization.If you have the ambition and desire to work in a friendly and fun environment, LSCC is the place for you!A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist may look like this:Formulate, recommend, implement, and monitor the provision of pharmacy services and resource utilization for all pharmacyCompound and dispense prescribedMaintain inventory at respective pharmaceuticalProvide high-quality patient care, information, assistance and counseling or referrals to appropriateVerify all prescriptions are safely and accurately dispensed at the pharmacyAnswer drug information questions and perform consultation services for patients and Lone Star Circle of Care employeesExtract pertinent information from patients, or other sources and apply them to the patient's medical management planPrepare and maintain required recordsSupervise site support staff at pharmacy locationAll other duties or responsibilities as assignedWe ask our Pharmacist to possess a minimum of:Current State of Texas Registered Pharmacist license (TSBP)Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)The following experience/skills are preferred:Minimum of two (2) years of experienceProficiency with EMR systemBilingual English/Spanish language skillsSome key factors that will make an individual successful in this role:The ability to problem solveOrganizational skillsAttention to detailTeam player personalityTime managementLSCC offers a competitive benefits package, including:Competitive salary;Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance;LSCC paid Life insurance;LSCC paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance;Paid Time Off; and403b Employee Retirement Plan
