Position Summary

As our Back End Manager, you will work to lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Leading and assisting Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
  • Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy lead and pharmacy technician performance
  • Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
  • Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
  • Work strategically to meet all customer expectations and patient needs
  • Will oversee payroll, scheduling, coaching, engagement and development of technicians

Required Qualifications

    What You Bring:

    • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician
    • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
    • One (1) or more years of management experience



    Preferred Qualifications

    Additional Skills/Experience, but not Required:

    • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
    • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
    • PTCB National Certification


    Education

    • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $43,700.00 - $102,000.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
