Overview
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Manager to join us as we prepare to open our brand-new pharmacy in the coming weeks. The ideal candidate will be seeking a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, possess a solid background in retail pharmacy settings and have knowledge of mail-order pharmacy services . This role requires a commitment to patient service, effective inventory management, and adherence to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA. You will report directly to the owner of the pharmacy who is offering flexibility with the opportunity to grow with us.

Duties

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Provide retail pharmacy services and Rx delivery via mail.
• Reaching out to patients for verification as well as delivery confirmation.
• Maintain inventory management systems to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Utilize pharmacy software for efficient workflow.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge and pain management strategies.
• Develop a culture of safety, compliance and quality within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of medical management principles and medication administration practices.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software applications and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
