Pomerene Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Responsible Pharmacist with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Direct pharmacy operations.
• Lead collaboration in the development and optimization of the hospital’s 340B program.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to improve medication access and cost-efficiency.
• Provide leadership and collaboration with pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Maintain inventory control while overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring contract compliance.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures aligned with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: PharmD- preferred
• Ohio Pharmacist license: Active in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience 3-5 years with experience in a leadership role.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the 340B program or commitment to learn
• Exposure to rural healthcare dynamics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with EMR systems and pharmacy automation tools, including automated dispensing systems .
• Desire to train and mentor staff in compliance and best practices.
