Pomerene Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Responsible Pharmacist with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
- Direct pharmacy operations.
- Lead collaboration in the development and optimization of the hospital’s 340B program.
- Collaborate with medical staff and administration to improve medication access and cost-efficiency.
- Provide leadership and collaboration with pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Maintain inventory control while overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring contract compliance.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures aligned with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: PharmD- preferred
- Ohio Pharmacist license: Active in good standing.
- Hospital pharmacy experience 3-5 years with experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the 340B program or commitment to learn
- Exposure to rural healthcare dynamics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with EMR systems and pharmacy automation tools, including automated dispensing systems .
- Desire to train and mentor staff in compliance and best practices.
