We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee's knowledge, critical thinking, innovative solutions for our clients.ResponsibilitiesFill prescription ordersAnswer and screen telephone calls, and take refill requests.Help put away drug orders.Reconstitute and compound medication orders based on patient care needs and following Service Unit policies and procedures.Fill clinic and ward drug supply ordersMaintain inventory of stock and I.V. bulk solutionsPrepackage medication into unit-of-dispensing sizesClinic and ward inspectionsDispense medication refillsAdminister immunizations (certification required)Work in a collaborative fashion with the pharmacy team and providers to ensure timely and accurate pharmaceutical services.Participate in training and competency activities including: Annual safety and infection control, and other mandatory training as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a pharmacy technician training program.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required.24 years of pharmacy technician experience, including clinical support functions.Familiarity with IHS pharmacy systems and federal pharmacy regulations.Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).Ability to report to work onsite in Crow Agency, MT
