As a Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store. Technicians are often the first point of contact to assist our patients and customers, providing an exceptional experience. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and support a caring service that exceeds expectations. Technicians operate as part of the pharmacy team through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. They demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture where all people feel valued and empowered. Once in role, Technicians are required to complete rigorous company training and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Until all requirements are met, duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager. Responsibilities Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help manage and improve patient health Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations, and addressing patient needs Assist with basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership Embrace a growth mindset, seek feedback, and expand clinical and technical knowledge Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to other store locations Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and privacy Support additional patient healthcare services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing Additional Responsibilities for Immunization Support Complete licensure and training to support vaccine administration Educate patients about vaccines and refer questions to the Pharmacist Monitor and respond to adverse reactions, report events as required Manage vaccine supplies and documentation Qualifications Meet state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education, and licensure/certification If not mandated, be at least 16 years old Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, or be enrolled in a program State and national certification requirements vary by state Essential Functions Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends Complete required training timely Demonstrate attention, focus, and flexibility in tasks Provide excellent customer service and work well in a team Communicate effectively verbally and in writing Apply mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations Resolve problems effectively Meet physical demands, including lifting and standing for periods Communicate clearly and receive detailed instructions Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service Flexibility to work across store locations Work Details Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20 Time Type: Part-time Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and location We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, 401(k), stock purchase plans, wellness programs, paid time off, flexible schedules, and more.
