Overview Primary Location: Worland, Wyoming Pharmacy Technician: Functions as a retail clerk for the company store and assists the Pharmacist by performing the following duties. Responsibilities Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types of labels for bottles. Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to customer, computes charges, and enters data in computer. Cleans equipment and sterilizes containers and equipment according to prescribed methods. Provides effective and professional customer service to clients, in person and over the telephone. Coordinates prescription needs with Doctor's office and insurance providers. Assists with the display of all store merchandise, keeping the shelves neat, organized, and clean. Assists with the selection and ordering of merchandise. Operates the cash register, receives payment for purchases, and processes charges in accordance with company policy.
