Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will perform blood collection and related procedures with accuracy and professionalism while providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow strict infection control and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.
• Assist with other phlebotomy-related administrative tasks as needed.

Required Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in science and prior phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.

• Local candidates may be considered.
• Candidates must live within a 75-mile radius of Saranac Lake, NY.
