Phlebotomy Training Coordinator Location: 550 17th Ave, Seattle, WA
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with additional hours as needed.
Job Responsibilities Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives.
Evaluate existing and proposed training methodologies, develop training materials and plans, and deliver training.
Conduct training programs for the company.
Track and analyze training programs by examining participants’ job performance.
Monitor and report the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed (5‑10% of time).
Minimum Qualifications Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
At least 1 year of lead or training experience, preferably within a phlebotomy or clinical training environment.
Additional Standards and Expectations In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the requirement.
Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
Flexible to work overtime as needed.
Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work independently or in a team environment, and comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Organizational, time‑management, and proficiency with computerized databases skills.
Physical Demands Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing on one’s feet in an upright position, sitting in a normal seated position, and handling/holding/grasping with possible casual to regular lifting of up to 30pounds.
Travel Travel to other sites to assist onboarding and training, 5‑10% of the time.
Pay Range $21.87 to $32.28 per hour.
