The successful candidate will Maintain records, develop reports, and engage stakeholders in all matters related to industrial hygiene with a strong directive to control occupational health hazards. Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and coordinate IH initiatives by closely following AIHA’s (American Industrial Hygiene Association) Comprehensive Exposure Assessment process Implement, evaluate and maintain IH standards, policies, and programs Develop and instruct on IH and MSHA topics with all employees including new hire, annual refresher and toolbox training sessions as required Develop sampling plans Collect, maintain, and analyze data using various methods of inferential statistics Maintain records, develop reports, and engage stakeholders in all matters related to industrial hygiene with a strong directive to control occupational health hazards Manage Cority (formerly Medgate), DSSAC (Docking Station Server Administrator Console), Quest Suite, and other IH computer applications Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field preferred Previous mining experience, preferably in an underground setting preferred Previous experience operating Medgate EHS software system preferred Professional Safety and Health certifications/designations (CSP, MSP, CMSP) preferred Knowledge of State and MSHA regulations (particularly Part 62) and the ability to work cooperatively with regulatory agencies preferred Strong communication and public speaking skills preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment preferred Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position required What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
