Jobcon Logo Job Description :

Fort Eden, LLC is a luxury antiques design and furniture company based in the Hudson Valley. We specialize in curating, restoring, and presenting unique antiques with a refined creative vision. As a small, close-knit startup, we move fast, think creatively, and value artistry over bureaucracy.

We’re looking for a versatile Photographer who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in the art direction process. If you thrive on creative freedom and love building compelling visual stories from scratch, this role is for you.

The Photographer will be responsible for capturing, styling, and producing high-quality images that showcase our antiques and design work. This role blends photography, creative direction, and production management—ideal for a multidisciplinary creative who wants to own the entire visual process.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Plan and execute photoshoots for furniture, antiques, and interior design projects.
  • Lead art direction and media direction for visual campaigns.
  • Source and manage props, backdrops, and staging elements for shoots.
  • Handle styling and staging of pieces to align with the brand’s luxury aesthetic.
  • Edit and retouch photos to ensure polished, professional results.
  • Collaborate with leadership on brand vision and creative storytelling.
  • Organize and maintain digital media assets for use across marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in professional photography (portfolio required).
  • Strong skills in art direction, styling, and staging.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Ability to handle end-to-end production, from planning to final editing.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and self-directed—comfortable working without micromanagement.
  • Knowledge of antiques, interiors, or product photography is a plus.
