Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to build robust, secure, and high-performing web applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to create scalable back-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with front-end interfaces. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PHP frameworks, database systems, and a passion for writing clean, efficient code.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side web applications using PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop RESTful APIs for integration with external systems and applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect applications and data.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in PHP development and web programming.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including experience with SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Experience with performance optimization and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
