PHP Full Stack Developer

Sr. Software Developer Location – Remote (USA) Timings - Flexible, and onshore – offshore co-ordination (Able to attend meetings starting from 7am PST / 4pm CET) The team is looking for a Sr. Software Developer to contribute to various projects across the portfolio. In this role you will work closely with the business leads and development team to ensure delivery of the overall portfolio. This candidate will be proactive, outgoing and detail-oriented with strong technical skills, excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills. Front-End Responsibilities: React Development: Building interactive user interfaces using React.js. HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Implementing designs and layouts using web technologies. Responsive Design: Ensuring applications work well on different devices and screen sizes. Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries could be beneficial (e.g., Vue.js, Angular). Back-End Responsibilities: PHP Development: Writing server-side logic in PHP. Laravel Framework: Utilizing Laravel for building robust back-end services and APIs. Database Management: Working with MongoDB for handling data storage needs. API Integration: Integrating with third-party services and APIs. Security and Performance: Implementing security and data protection measures. Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. Required Skills Full stack web development with extensive front-end experience Advanced knowledge of the LAMP stack, especially proficient knowledge of PHP 8 Proficient in version control systems such as GIT Able to attend meetings starting from 7am PST / 4pm CET Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar Experience working with Agile methodologies, on a scrum team, and/or in a very team-oriented environment A good understanding of Object Oriented design patterns, especially patterns that avoid redundancy and promote efficiency, legibility, testability, and maintainability of code Ability to deal with multiple projects at a time Very self-motivated to work independently, and proactively take ownership of timelines and deliverables Fluent in English, both written and spoken Experience working in a global environment Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the following technologies Jira REST API development Apache Solr
