Do you have a knack for managing multiple priorities while leading a team of engineers and liaising with stakeholders and other company departments? Are you a seasoned expert in CCTV and Access Control Systems? Skyline seeks an engaging leader with a technical CCTV background who has excelled in leading and managing a team of incredibly talented security engineers. If you can effectively manage project pipelines, manage, and balance a department s workload, and deliver according to established timelines, we want to meet you!

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

  • 40% of the time on Objective 1: Engineering and Oversight
  • 30% of the time on Objective 2: CCTV and Access Control System Design
  • 15% of the time on Objective 3: RFP and Bid Response
  • 15% of the time on Objective 4: Office Admin and Meetings

Job Responsibilities - What To Expect

  • Effectively manage Skyline s engineering project pipeline, assign and track new sales opportunities, and meet project deliverables and timelines.
  • Proactively support and guide the engineering team and ensure processes are correctly and routinely followed.
  • Responsibly manage and balance the Engineering team s workload and partner with the sales teams to understand upcoming work, set expectations, and understand customer needs.
  • Diligently update the Director and Operations Manager about pre-sales lead times, the engineering team s throughput, and resource constraints.
  • Thoroughly complete site surveys, create security designs and base drawings for the preliminary designs based on those findings, spec the proper equipment to meet customer expectations, and correctly select VMS depending on the application.
  • Efficiently gather all information needed for a project s implementation, create labor Bill of Materials and labor estimates, and support the sales team with customer interactions.
  • Enthusiastically qualify bid opportunities with Go/No Go meetings by partnering with the BD team, monitoring the technical information that meets project requirements, and reviewing those requirements and financial data for accuracy.
  • Graciously meet with the engineering team weekly to review open projects, complete performance reviews for the engineering team, facilitate daily engineering standups, and attend weekly proposal meetings for upcoming projects.

Your Knowledge & Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in a related field or additional education
  • 5+ years of experience in CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • Possess or ability to obtain manufacturing and industry certifications.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Experience with MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills with a detail-focused eye.
  • Must have a current driver s license with a good record.
  • Ability to pass county/state security clearance.
