Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (Allied)

Location: Weyers Cave, VA 24486

Pay Rate: $36/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: 8hr Day

Guarantee Hours: 40

Key Responsibilities:

• Will accept a sooner start date:
• Outpatient Experience is preferred.
• Will not accept New Grads
• Will accept First Time Travelers
• Float to other clinics: No
• 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.
• OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits/ week; Will see 12-14 patients/day; Double-booking of follow up visits expected.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions from the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of physical therapy practices, techniques, and modalities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a diverse caseload.
