Location: Normandy Park, WA near Seattle, WA
Work Setting: Private Physical Therapy Office
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $70K-$80K a year plus full benefits

Job Summary

We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time opportunity in a private physical therapy office near Seattle. This role is centered on helping patients follow through on their treatment plans, improve how they move, and make steady progress toward recovery. You will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist while giving patients focused support during each visit. With one patient scheduled per hour, this position allows for a more thoughtful pace and a better overall treatment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement activities
  • Assist with mobility work, stretching, strengthening, and balance training
  • Observe patient response to treatment and report updates to the Physical Therapist
  • Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Help keep the clinic clean, organized, and ready for patient care
  • Provide clear instructions and encouragement during therapy sessions

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Active Washington PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to follow a Physical Therapist’s plan of care accurately
  • Organized, professional, and comfortable working in a private outpatient setting
