A growing pediatric therapy provider is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver therapy services in Clewiston, FL, with the majority of hours in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting.

Position Overview

The PTA will provide pediatric physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, primarily within a PPEC facility serving medically complex children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services under the direction of a supervising PT

• Implement individualized treatment plans focused on:

  • Mobility and gait training

  • Strength development

  • Positioning and postural control

  • Functional skill development

• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

• Support a positive and professional therapeutic environment

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Florida PTA license (required)

• Pediatric experience preferred

• PPEC experience a strong plus

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work with medically complex pediatric populations

Position Details

• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

• Compensation: $40.00 $55.00 per hour

• Schedule: Consistent hours, primarily in a facility-based setting
